Here is a reference about Topological Bonds. Does not apply to rotaxanes. http://pubs.acs.org/cgi-bin/abstract.cgi/jpcafh/2004/108/i14/abs/jp037627z.html M stone 09:18, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3 Rotaxane[edit]

Is there an actual reason, beyond what little is demonstrated by the article itself, why 3 Rotaxane needs a separate article from the main one on rotaxanes? Bearcat (talk) 07:14, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The rotaxane article has developed images, basic history, defined importance within the context of chemistry and several references. It is therefore within the context of a "B" class article. Further, its importance to organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and material sciences is well established and is therefore of at least "mid" importance.
