Although I have shopped Morrisons in Scarborough, Roy Lewis' statutory retirement age in 1978 makes his working in the butchers unlikely as asserted without reference by editors 84.13.37.203 and 70.81.154.58. This is not replicated in the French article.

A Mid-Victorian Rumpus[edit]

There are several authors named Roy Lewis, including a detective novelist. Has anyone any idea whether the author of Cock of the Walk: a mid-Victorian rumpus, published by Peter Owen in 1995, was a last flowering of our Roy Lewis? Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 11:53, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
