Splitting[edit]

Hi Quadra,

It looks like you've used a slightly older version of the page as a start point for the split. I don't know if this was intentional... just giving you a heads up. Sancho McCann 22:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I'm not sure that leaving it all in one place will get too out of hand. I've taken a look at the Wikipedia:The perfect article and Wikipedia:Article size articles and they seem to motivate keeping this information together in one location. The training is a large part of what each of the program is. Without describing the training in the root article, we might not be providing an encyclopedic angle on every aspect of the subject. Anyway, these are just some thoughts. I am interested to see what you have in mind though for the split though. Oh, I also submitted the Royal Canadian Air Cadets page for a peer review yesterday, maybe they'll say something about the length to help inform our decision. The idea is to cover each of the summer courses in detail, along with the Levels program - the sort of detail that should be available, but would drag down the main article, which deals with the entirety of the program, including history, administration, funding, traditions, etc. Quadra 03:51, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah... so were you planning on leaving the same level of detail regarding training as is currently on the main page, but having more detailed information on this training page? Sancho McCann 06:52, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
