Role?[edit]

I would question the description of the role as "executive protection". From what I can tell of the definition elsewhere on Wikipedia of that term, it seems a purely American term for bodyguard. That is not what the Spanish Royal Guard is. The guards are quite simply a royal guard.124.197.15.138 (talk) 09:32, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Civil guard company[edit]

I can find no reference that says the Royal guard has a company from the Civil Guard as one of its unites. Please, provide a source for this claim.Marked4life (talk) 06:21, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
