Disjointed, confusing

First it says he graduated from Harvard in 2004. Then it says: "Deciding to leave college at Harvard University [an awkward sentence construct in itself], Gallego joined the Marines." Why not just say that after he graduated from Harvard, Gallego joined the Marines? Was he planning to continue there in a graduate program of some kind and changed his mind, or did he join the Marines directly after receiving his bachelor's degree?

Under the brief explanation of his election to Congress, there's a mention of a vote he cast as a state legislator in 2013. It ruins the chronology and is not directly related to the subject of the paragraph.

Can't someone more familiar with the subject matter fix this article? Rontrigger (talk) 05:59, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
