I have heard somewhere that John Paul II played Rugby Union for Poland. Is this an Urban Myth, or is there some truth in it? Whilst I have insufficient evidence to justify editing the main page, I am reluctant to dismiss it out of hand. I presume the at Rugby Union would have been know in the Universities of Poland, (as it would have been in the Universities of other mainland European countries) - so it would be plausible for him as a keen sportsman to have played rugby whilst at a Seminary? If it is true it would be worthy of note in the article that such a prominent person from Poland played the game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.103.74.109 (talk) 00:41, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
