"Unelected representative"[edit]

Today User:80.47.129.11 posted an extra paragraph to the section about Ponsonby's political career: [1]. This was mostly removed by others for soapboxing, but a sentence remained which called Ponsonby an "unelected representative". I have removed this phrase because it's untrue. Ponsonby was elected by the hereditary peers in order to be their representative. He wasn't elected by the people of the UK, but then nobody is claiming he represents the people of the UK.
