Worth a mention?[edit]

I recenty read "Sherlock Holmes and the Hentazu Affair", which is set in the same world and, as it is also set 3 years after Prisoner of Zenda, appears to be an "alternate telling" of this tale, with a different ending (trust the great detective to straighten all the problems out so everybody lives happily ever after!)81.129.121.122 (talk) 20:01, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cover art[edit]

I hope the gorgeous cover of the 1898 US edition will do as an illustration. - PKM 03:32, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Importance[edit]

Rated it down to Mid. The novel is NOT very notable or significant within its field of literature, but rather notable or significant within the field of literature (or to a historian), but not necessarily outside it.Henry Merrivale (talk) 00:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crisis of conscience[edit]
