The Russian Cup and the Curling Championship are two different events. The Russian Cup is played between teams of division A and B from the Russian Championship, while at the Russian Championship the divisions are separated.--Orel787 (talk) 11:09, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OK, which ones send teams to the Worlds and to the Euros? -- Earl Andrew - talk 12:42, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Some time ago I saw a documentary which I think explained this. I will look futher what I can find. The official site of the federation is not really helpful and I am not an expert either.--Orel787 (talk) 13:39, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are qualifying tournaments for mixed doubles, seniors, juniors, wheelchair invalids. Perhaps the men's and women's teams are nominated by the coaches or the sports association. I just compared the team members in world championships and national championships, and I don't see any connection. Orel787 (talk) 16:13, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Men's events look to be the same, given the reference to the same site. Where they are differences, the only live link supports the Russian Curling Championships page version. So, redirected the men's page in (noting this this has also not been maintained). Klbrain (talk) 13:27, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
