Rename?[edit]

I propose we rename this from "Russian armoured cruiser Admiral Nakhimov" to "Admiral Nakhimov (Russian armoured cruiser)". Comments? Jason Quinn (talk) 14:53, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

strongly object - This violates Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ships), which has defined the titles of hundreds of military ship articles, and is inconsistent with the style of dozens of articles on ships of the Imperial Russian Navy.--MChew (talk) 15:45, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

'Based on Imperieuse class'[edit]

The age old and interesting matter of quite how the Russian Navy had the plans for this ship - so obviously similar to the Imperieuse - ready to proceed with even before the British example was launched.

Did the Russian Navy employ espionage to acquire copies of the British plans? Is there any documentary evidence of this? Is this a topic which would warrant subsequent inclusion in this article? 2A00:23C7:3119:AD01:D1D3:3F8E:1DDF:2B4D (talk) 12:46, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
