Immediate failure?[edit]

No.

Lead and prose[edit]

The lead and prose are good, except for one thing; is there a common name for the family? If so, please add the common name in the lead. If not, tell me.

I am not aware of a common name for the family in English. In German, "Sprödblättler" is sometimes used, but I see no interest in adding this fact: first, the English equivalent "brittlegills" is already used for the genus Russula, and second, this name does not apply to the crust-like and closed-fruitbody species of the family.
