National caps[edit]

Playerhistory.com listed him capped for Cameroon U20 before switch to France U21, any one can dig a match report? Matthew_hk tc 04:59, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FC Metz expansion needed.[edit]

Just a note and a reminder that the article could probably do with an expansion for a FC Metz section. Govvy (talk) 19:03, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Now I noticed the whole section is gone! He clearly was at FC Metz, loads of material on the internet to verfiy it. What is with ppl removing perfectly good content. Govvy (talk) 14:27, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

stop warring guys,[edit]

okay, I shall copy here what you keep removing,

-- As the season progressed, Bassong became a regular starter for Tottenham playing in all of the first 7 games of the 2009–10 Premier League season. During the season Bassong made 38 appearances and scored once. Bassong scored Tottenham Hotspur's first ever Champions League goal versus Young Boys of Berne which Tottenham came from 3–0 down to 3–2. On 4 December 2010, he played the full 90 minutes alongside William Gallas, and scored Tottenham's goal, in a 1–1 draw against Birmingham City at St Andrew's. On 30 January 2011 Bassong partnered Michael Dawson in the 4–0 FA Cup fourth-round defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage. On 2 February, due to injuries and suspensions, he partnered Gallas in central defence in a 1–0 win against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park which kept Tottenham in fifth place in the league. On 15 May 2011, Bassong made a substitute appearance coming on for Danny Rose on 82 minutes in Tottenham's 2–0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield. --

All you need to do is find the references on the net, and I don't see hardly any POV like GiantSnowman is suggesting. Govvy (talk) 13:24, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please familiarise yourself with WP:BLP. GiantSnowman 13:28, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and as for POV, phrases like "famous Clairefontaine youth academy", "the world's most gifted players", "regular starter" and "formed a good partnership" etc. all clearly qualify. GiantSnowman 13:29, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
?? I know all of that, I have read enough! :/ I feel that you really wasn't helping the article, you could of easily rewritten it and found the citations yourself... I have already found two taken off from 2010–11 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. season. Govvy (talk) 13:49, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BURDEN is on those introducing the material to adequately source it. You also need to re-phrase your "warring" accusation, WP:3RRNO exclused BLP violations. GiantSnowman 13:54, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
?? I hate it when peeps throw all this wp policies at me, so many ppl seem to be deconstructive instead of constructive! :/ I also blame you for destroying an article instead of helping it. Like removing the whole Norwich City section when it really only needs referencing and a good cleanup. It's not a hard job! Govvy (talk) 14:18, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
