Gameplay section[edit]

We just got the gameplay section fleshed out. Problem is, for now it's all in subcategories. We need to find a way to blend it all together, unless certain aspects require special elaboration. Eik Corell (talk) 19:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-The section of Free-play it should be changed. It say that after finish the game if you choose stay on the Zone, you can find secrets and hidden parts that you cant get on the normal mode (before the evacuation). This is false, the game not changes nothing but that some stalkers and Uncle Yar go to Prypiat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.60.199.98 (talk) 16:36, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded Plot[edit]

Just wanted to let you guys know I just updated the introduction to the plot, to make the article a bit more accessible to newcomers. Edit/proofread as you will. 128.208.117.6 (talk) 21:43, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

With March 6, 2024 release of Xbox/PS version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. original trilogy, the official subtitle has now been updated to "Call of Prypiat"[edit]

With the March 6, 2024 release for PS/Xbox of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy the subtitle for ALL S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games now have Ukrainian language-based spelling for Ukrainian сities (e.g., Chornobyl and Prypiat), I think it makes sense to add a separate section "Title" for this article to prevent confusion from the readers as to why the games subtitle is now "Call of Prypiat".

Note, since March 6, 2024 there are now a ton of official announcements about the change "Call of Prypiat", so making article update for this should be non-contentious. Below please see the sources that verify the "Call of Prypiat" update that I will be using in the article update:

Sources from the official developer websites:

Sources from the official Xbox store website:

Sources from the official PlayStation store website:

I realize that it might be a big change for some folks that may be used to the old Russian spelling of Chornobyl/Prypiat, but please refrain from any pointless edit warring and just please be understanding that this is an official update from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developers, and these updates to the article are simply reflecting it. 163.53.144.106 (talk) 05:00, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
