Last Atlas E/F Launch[edit]

This article says "24 March 1995". Whereas the article Atlas_E/F says "Saturday 24 March 2001". Who's right? --78.94.76.211 (talk) 22:18, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, you requested a source for the last edits[edit]

The complete launch report for Atlas 32E is online (if you do a few seconds of Google search) and contains all the details about this rather spectacular failure. Unfortunately I can't find any video or photos of it except one still picture of the booster on the pad prior to liftoff.

That's cool. There is a lot of material on the GREAT BIG world wide web. But if you want a set of claims to stick around long term in the Wikipedia, then it will often be necessary to provide a verifiable source citation when another editor asks you to do so. The burden of evidence is on the editor who adds or retains unsourced material.
That particular new IP editor had added, in good faith I'm sure, quite a bit of detailed material to ten or so articles that was not sourced. It was reverted until a source can be found for the new claims that were added. Cheers. N2e (talk) 05:46, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, IP editor (who has apparently now used the last three different IP addresses that made edits to the article, which all came from the same internet service provider in the same region of the US), for adding a source to the edits you made to the article! Good on ya. N2e (talk) 00:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
