I'll take on this review. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 03:20, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Criterion 1[edit]

  • In the lead: The infobox describes the Grosser Kurfürst are an ironclad, while the lead describes her as an armored frigate. Is there any real difference between the two?
  • In the lead: Can you put in the German version of the name (with the ß) in the first sentence as well?
  • In the Construction section: "newly established Imperial dockyard" - Capitalize "dockyard".
  • In the Inquiry section: "to ensure that Batsch, his protege, would" - protege should be "protégé". Any other cases of these should be fixed also.

Criterion 2[edit]

  • The online New York Times reference (reference 10) is not online anymore. I won't hold you to this in terms of GA, but I just wanted to let you know it is dead.

Criterion 3[edit]

In terms of focus and broadness, this article appears sufficient.

Criterion 4[edit]

The article appears neutral, and does not give undue weight to individual viewpoints.

Criterion 5[edit]

Edit history suggests that the article is stable.

Criterion 6[edit]

All four images have copyright licenses and appear legitimate.

Overall comments[edit]

Another one's on the road to GA. Literally four fixes, and this one shall be GA. Nice work, Parsecboy! --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 03:47, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Everything should be fixed - as for ironclad/armored frigate, the latter is a type of the former (although turret ship would be the most accurate for this ship, so I changed the link to that). Odd that the link to the NYT archive went dead so quickly, but I fixed that as well. Thanks again! Parsecboy (talk) 13:28, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome. I shall pass this right away. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 00:18, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
