Lighting history[edit]

There seems to be a problem with the dating involving the City of Berlin's installation of incandescent light bulbs. The first installation of a light bulb onboard a ship was in May 1880, on the SS Columbia of the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company. It was also the first commercial application of Edison's light bulb. How could the installation onboard the City of Berlin have occurred the year before Columbia's installation? 707 (talk) 20:04, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
