Hi! I will be reviewing this article for GA, and should have the review up within a couple of hours. Dana boomer (talk) 19:33, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • The last three paragraphs of the "World War I" section are fairly short. Can they be combined in any way?
      • How does it look now?
    • In the lead, you say the ship was built in 1910 twice.
      • I removed the second one.
    • In the "World War II" section, third paragraph, you say "often by performed by Soviet women and political prisoners". Should the first "by" be removed?
      • Yes it should :) , and now is removed.
    • In the "Red Cross ship" section, you have a set of refs out of numerical order.
      • Good catch. I think that was an artifact of the Did You Know? process.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    • In the "World War I" section, fourth paragraph, the last sentence needs a ref
      • Added.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Another nice article. I'm putting it on hold to allow time to address the few concerns I detailed above. Dana boomer (talk) 19:52, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
