Are you sure about that? I'm sure we would have heard a lot more about it if almost 4000 soldiers lost their lives! I heard she didn't even sink from that incident, and 4000 people on a ship of that size?...

--My Mistake... I've just read up about this incident from another source and it seems this is true. I'm just surprised I haven't heard more about this with the huge loss of life. It's also very poorly documented over the internet and with many conflicting stories.

Ottawa was sold in ?[edit]

Article's reference 1 says: "In March 1911, Ottawa was sold to..." however article says "1910" (not "1911"). This external sourcealso says "1911". So 1910s (8 times) in the article should be replaced with 1911s. VikiPicture (talk) 21:31, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

War over[edit]

There is asmall disperency in chronology. (too bad the editor has left WP) It reads : In 1918, she carried 1,500 German troops to Dover, to the Allied control point there, where the soldiers were disarmed and sent home. With the war finally over, Gul Djemal went to word for the Ottoman American Line. Well, the ship can't carry the German soldiers, under Ally control, before the end of the war. So it seems the phrase "the War finally over" must precede the first sentence. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 12:57, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
