IMPROVE[edit]

Needs improvement and contains wrong information.See current and older revisions. Also needs citing.Slicky 10:03, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I checked all of my information against the source you cited. State what's wrong here, on the talk page, so that I can check it. "Abbe's law" doesn't directly relate to this type of microscope - look it up yourself. I already linked to the correct optical terms. "Confocal scanning microscope" is not a STED - A STED is a _type_ of confocal scanning microscope, which is why I put a recap paragraph at the top of the article. --Christopher Thomas 00:56, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The dye doesn't have an emission line, but rather a broad spectrum. The nonlinearity of the stimulated emmision process is also of great importance for achieving high resolution.

Math formulas[edit]

I put math formatting on the two formulas in the text but not being experienced with them am not certain I got the second one right, especially since the text version was ambiguous looking to me. The second one is also missing an explanation of the symbols used in it -- the first one has these explained. -- Dough34 (talk) 18:35, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
