Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it's about a free software tool (Learning Management System) that has been developed in a prestigious public institution like the University of Granada (Spain), and is used massively by over 80000 users in that university ( http://swad.ugr.es/stat/ ). In addition the tool has transcended from the local to the global, as it is being used in the main university in Paraguay ( http://www.cevuna.una.py/swad/ ) and is freely available to everyone in several languages. --Acanas (talk) 12:55, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"freely available" and "developed in a university" are not valid reasons to keep an article. The only reason is notability and following the Golden Rule. Unless you do that, the article cannot stay. -- Alexf(talk) 16:34, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As for notability: More than 80,000 users currently. As for independence: one hundred publications (conferences or journals) about SWAD or comparing it to other platforms (see a list in http://openswad.org/paper/ ) --Acanas (talk) 14:14, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have tried to improve the article with references to several publications outside SWAD and the University of Granada. --Acanas (talk) 10:53, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- There is no personal interest by the autor to promote one product to his own benefit. - It is a product used by a lot of people, and the number is growing every day so they should know the history of it.
