Untitled[edit]

It would be incorrect to merge Saab Bofors Dynamics with Bofors, in fact it would be a move in the wrong direction. Saab Bofors Dynamics is a subsidiary of Saab AB and although an outgrowth of the generic Bofors, as is BAE Systems Bofors, they no longer share a common corporate culture. The Bofors page must be rewritten to reflect the historic company and its products up until the division of the companies, but should only include products and history that do not belong to the two current companies. Merging Saab Bofors Dynamics with Bofors would be like merging the US with Great Britain.

Koenigsegg buying Saab[edit]

Just wanted you to know that Saab is getting bought up by Koenigsegg, but I don't know if that will affect Saab Bofors. Does anyone know something about this? 78.72.6.146 (talk) 23:04, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Saab Automobile is being sold to Koenigsegg; Saab Bofors is owned by Saab, a completely separate company now, but one which once owned the auto company. - BillCJ (talk) 02:37, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
