Main areas for improvement. Lede should probably be two paragraphs. Background should have something about the whole Magnier, Sangster, O'Brien Coolmore team. Racing career is factually complete (thanks to Timeform) but could use some quotes (Google news archive?). Stud career needs more narrative prose to go with the table. Sire of sires needs redoing- I remember that for a while there was a feeling that he wasn't going to make a mark in this area, which seems very odd now, and call me Euro-biased but El Prado shouldn't really have top-billing. As the old boy only died in 2011 there should be plenty of retrospectives still easily available online. The British broadsheets The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and The Independent have very good racing coverage and I like substantial racing articles to have some references from mainstream media. The Racing Post doesn't have the kind of archive it used to have on the website but this site [1] has quite a lot of their old stories. Pedigree section[edit]

The prose before the table should be moved up to the 'Background' section and merged with it, as much is duplicated on each. Hence, a fair bit of editing is needed. I'll see if I can get to this at some stage, but someone else is welcome to! Billsmith60 (talk) 10:39, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
