Text and/or other creative content from this version of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend was copied or moved into List of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend volumes with this edit on 14 March 2021. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

Original research on character footnotes[edit]

Can someone scrub through the name derivations for the characters? A lot of it is written up like speculation or unsourced synthesis that I had to slap an "original research" tag on it. About the only one that might be okay is the Icy Tears = Aishiteru pun, but even then if there's a source that can back that up, that would be great. -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:10, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend → Saekano – "How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend" is the series' subtitle, and a search reveals less than 1,000,000 Google hits for the full title. On the other hand, just "Saekano" without the subtitle gets around 2.6 million hits. On the other hand, many official sources such as licensor websites and ANN list the series under its full title. Should the article remain in the full title, or is the short form the more appropriate article title here? MOS:SUBTITLE suggests that the most common name should be used, while earlier discussion at WT:ANIME suggested that article titles of anime with subtitles should be decided on a case-by-case basis. The subpages List of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend episodes, List of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend volumes, and List of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend characters should also be moved to List of Saekano episodes, List of Saekano volumes, and List of Saekano characters respectively.
