POV[edit]

"Bicycles meet safety standards when the rider wears a helmet." Uhh, POV anyone? --SPUI (talk) 00:00, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Absolute Bollocks.... this page needs so much work it makes my eyes water —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.83.34.3 (talk) 15:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The list[edit]

List of heavily neglected features for bicycles that improve bicycle safety and other essential factors[edit]

Note: many of these features are add-on features.

  • Bike lock
  • Headlight/Taillight
  • Helmet
  • Mirrors
  • Tireflys blinkers

Now, "heavily neglected" is POV, and "bike lock" is security, not safety. GregorB 14:56, August 28, 2005 (UTC)

AfD[edit]

Original POV stuff deleted pending AfD decision. This page could serve as a placeholder to link to a list of various safety standards, but since the page Safety already fills the primary requirement and individual standards are more appropriately linked to their subject pages (such as road safety) even this would appear to be moot.
