not a political abstraction[edit]

What Mass and Hauser are saying is that the bakufu could (and did) send daimyos to some new domain if it desired to do so - i.e. that the title of daimyo was not bound to a fixed area. This is quite different from claiming that Sagara was not defined in terms of area, as the lede currently does. Yaan (talk) 19:34, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
