People lists[edit]

I have removed some "people" lists from this article and also removed some other promotional material which is promotional in nature. If anyone wants a people list, you can try making a separate one like this List of Albanians. But don't make it in the article. It destroys the form and encyclopedic nature of the article.-Civilizededucationtalk 10:04, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Favouriteforu Don't revert other people's comments from the talk page. It is against talk page rules. If you have problems with my edit, explain your objection here. And don't revert edits in the article without any explanation of your reasons. Thanks-Civilizededucationtalk 17:06, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You had reverted my edits in the article. I have reverted them back. If you have any objection, explain it here and you can also notify me about your response on my talk page.-Civilizededucationtalk 17:12, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
User:Civilizededucation The article is at Wikipedia from almost last 1 year, I do not think that this article is promoting to any body, I have mentioned some names, some brilliant minds from Sahowala, jut to show example to others that from this rural area how many students had worked hard and got positions in different places worldwide, There is no email or contact number is given at page, There is no business which is advertised. It is tradition and culture of villages to keep remember their brilliant minds, I have mentioned persons in my list whom names are even written in Walls of Govt. High School Sahowala. These are some famous public personalities of that geographic area. I do not know why you are deleting them again and again? These are not Albanians, these people have background strongly attached with this location. I have removed your contents because you are again and again disturbing the hierarchy of article. Even You have deleted all historical references given at the end of article that what is the history of Sahowala and which famous people in history belongs to Sahowala. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Favouriteforu (talkcontribs) 00:28, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
User:Civilizededucation By the way who you are? We are people from Sahowala and we know better that what information of our area should be at web. Even you do not know what is the exact population of Sahowala, you are insisting at 8 thousand continuously Check from Punjab Government website, that what is population of this area? Similarly you have deleted the important information that how much schools, banks and mosques are available in this area, why? If we will not provide such information at web, then what is the benefit to write article on web? Are we just telling the whole world that the name of place is Sahowala? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Favouriteforu (talkcontribs) 00:48, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Favouriteforu. I have seen your objections and they are not useful. You are a new user. It appears that you are not familiar with Wikipedia policies. They are to be followed while editing any article. Please go to the welcome page WP:WEL. Then, please read the page and you will find a list of policies. Please familiarize yourself with at least the policies on "No Original Research" WP:NOR, and also WP:RS,WP:V,WP:NPOV,WP:CIVIL. This is my personal suggestion. You will get more guidance at the welcome page. What you are doing is against many policies and it is not allowed. Do not restore the material which has been removed by me and also by another user. Your material is against WP:NOR, besides other things. If you want to have a people list of the people of your town, make a new one for the people of your town, and do it according to the policies of Wikipedia. And I would suggest that you activate your talk page and user page so that it would be easier to communicate with you. Don't take this personally, I am only doing that which is expected of me as a Wikipedian. I have tried to be nice with you and to guide you towards the policies because you are a new user.-Civilizededucationtalk 09:02, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
