Barton Stadium[edit]

Please can someone provide an update on the building of the new stadium at Baton? Planning permission was granted in Nov 06 and yet I understand no construction work has begun despite the prediced completion date being 2009. Has the scheme been scrapped? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.92.47.100 (talk) 13:15, 12 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Irish players[edit]

Have the players not represented Ireland in the same way the Rugby Union team do as a United Ireland. The Four Provinces flag; is it official, relevant, even welcome. Alexsanderson83 19:45, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Vandalism[edit]

I reverted to GordyB's version (first one of 1st November 2007), as a lot of the edits appeared to be vandalism. Some may not have been, but not knowing the topic of Salford City Reds, I thought it best to highlight my concerns that I may have undone good faith edits here. They've just been relegated and a squad clearout is going on. I haven't looked into the particulars but it could be that major changes to the squad are good faith edits.GordyB 13:29, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How is replacing the lies stated as 'vandalism'??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.115.84 (talk) 05:14, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Salfordcityreds.gif[edit]

Image:Salfordcityreds.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

According to the wigan.rlfans.com website, the 1912-1913 Lancashire Cup Final was played at Weaste, Salford, would this be the same ground as The Willows, Salford?. Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 10:32, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. The Willows is in Weaste.GordyB (talk) 23:58, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
