Sources[edit]

Reference »Coleman, D. C. "Courtauld, Samuel"« is wrong and should be removed. The Samuel Courtauld in the Oxford Dictionary entry is another Samuel Courtauld, cf. biographical data.- --Reflections in a GoldenEye (talk) 09:24, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is a mention in the text of the ODNB subject being this article's subject's great-uncle ("the great-nephew of textile magnate Samuel Courtauld"). The ODNB source isn't used as a source for inline citations, but it probably should be removed. Paul W (talk) 11:22, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Paul W (talk) 11:29, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Paul. Indeed, the mention was a bit hidden and seemed to me more confusing than helpful. I found further references to Courtauld and implemented them. The 2019 publication is the exhibition catalogue to the exhibition in Paris. Are the references implemented correctly? If not, I would appreciate if you would help. Thank you again. General approach is to create inline citations for any assertions made in the body copy. If no specific assertion(s) is(are) supported, then works might be listed within the references section, perhaps in a sub-section as "Further reading". Paul W (talk) 07:33, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
