Number of Judges[edit]

A recent San Francisco Superior Court press release says that the Court has 52 "members," which I presume means "judges." [1] However, Section 69596 of the California Government Code says, "In the City and County of San Francisco there are 50 judges of the superior court." [2] Why then does the Court seem to have 52 judges, and where does the 52 come from? Chris.jerdonek (talk) 03:39, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Number of Commissioners[edit]

I know the number of Commissioners on the San Francisco Superior Court has ranged at least from one to fourteen [1]. However, I haven't been able to find a reference to the maximum number of Commissioners (i.e. the number of "seats" if there are seats). Does anyone know if there are Commissioner seats and what the number of seats is? Chris.jerdonek (talk) 03:18, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
