SPAWN[edit]

I have requested a source for the following claim: "Strong efforts are also being made to protect and restore streams and habitat in the San Geronimo Valley, where upwards of 40% of the Lagunitas salmon spawn each year and where as much as 1/3 of the juvenile salmon (or fry) spend their entire freshwater lives." I have also added the word "controversial" to the following SPAWN sentence. This sentence was also a run-on with inconsistent verbal voicing, so I have broken it up into two sentences and fixed the grammar a bit. I also rephrased the advocacy part of the last sentence to make it more descriptive. This paragraph seemed like a SPAWN plant to me, so please try to keep things descriptive and evidential rather than biased in favor of the organization. Anyone who lives by the creek knows how controversial they are. D.E. Cottrell (talk) 23:12, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
