I have no ideas what "barlongas vaults" are. In 'Description' Can anybody help? Richard Avery (talk) 23:09, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for the corrections.
Bovedas barlongas refers to 4-part vaulting over a rectangular space. Gothic went from simple 4 parts rib vaulting over a square space to a Sexpartite vault over a rectangular vaut, before moving to pointed vaults. The width of the nave is larger than the distance between the two supporting columns.
