The result of the move request was: not moved. Let's revisit this a couple months down the road per WP:NAMECHANGE. – robertsky (talk) 12:43, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sandspit AirportK'il Kun Xidgwangs Daanaay – The name has been officially changed. I support the name change, but I suspect that many people will still call the airport Sandspit Airport or YZP. See this announcement: Transport Canada. "The Council of the Haida Nation and the Minister of Transport announces the renaming of Sandspit Airport to K'il Kun Xidgwangs Daanaay" (Press release). • Comment do independent secondary sources in general use, use the new name per WP:NAMECHANGES? Otherwise this is the irrelevant WP:OFFICIALNAMES argument. DankJae 07:37, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • There have been several articles in reliable sources about the name change, but not much coverage of the airport itself since the announcement. I think that any future coverage of the airport is likely to use the new official name. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 13:29, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Premature at best. No evidence offered that the name change appears in reliable secondary sources, and it seems unlikely that it does. The primary sources offered are of little relevance. Andrewa (talk) 06:58, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
