Notable[edit]

Why is this person actually notable a tv presentor of minor note, and this Moriarty Tribunal issue - she is not even mentioned on that article. Off2riorob (talk) 19:47, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

She is mentioned in the Denis O'Brien article now as part of the ongoing events of the Moriarty Tribunal. and she just resigned her post at the Irish Times due to event at MT. --BwB (talk) 05:22, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lie?[edit]

With regard to the Tribunal leak, I notice that contributors to this article who used the word "lie" have had the word removed, on the grounds of non-neutral POV. And yet in her final column in The Irish Times she wrote "Lying to tribunal over leak is black spot on my record". If she openly accepts she lied, is it not a little perverse to keep using the word "deny" in this article? I mean, it's not even controversial any more. Moriarty Tribunal[edit]

The moriarty tribunal section is not compliant with the biography of living persons policy and is not notable and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.191.241.9 (talk) 15:42, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Material that was covered in multiple media outlets and the national airwaves most certainly is notable. If you have concerns that any content breaches our WP:BLP policy, please list them and we can discuss. But do not remove referenced material without consensus, just because you you don't like it. If you have a conflict of interest, you should also declare that. Please sign your posts by typing four tilde characters (~). I don't see any WP:BLP issues with the current section and sourcing; User:137.191.241.9, you're going to need to provide more details on how exactly you think that violates BLP. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:54, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
