Bibliography[edit]

Wikipedia has a slick way to add a bibliography to the encyclopaedia article. Just add a section named references such as in this article Central Business District, Saskatoon. Now add the footnotes using these fill in templates for the citation being used, book, website, newspaper what have you. I was going to surf the net for Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra but couldn't help you out in this case, as your article seems to plagarize the Canadian Encyclopedia which is not allowed at wikipedia. Read this article copyright issues if you submitted this article also elsewhere online. Can you use the facts from other articles and sources and write the wikipedia article in your own prose and words, and then add footnotes from other sources to prove this notability that you have inferred in the article it would be awesome!!!!SriMesh | talk 02:01, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrighted material[edit]

I'm not sure who changed this article, but the edits made were directly drawn from the Canadian Encyclopedia. I'm not clear that the contributor 198.169.119.202 owns the material, and it seems unlikely. If that's the case, perhaps he/she can clarify things. I seem to have been unfairly accused of making this change. My contributions were NOT drawn from external sources and were just the original 1 line placeholder for this article and the external link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartbottom (talkcontribs) 00:58, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've built a new page, very similar to my original posting, that is sitting in the Temp folder. When an administrator gets around to this issue, that page can be moved to the root location. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartbottom (talkcontribs) 01:15, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • And now, within minutes, that page has been marked for deletion. I've made edits and included a "hangon", but this is silly. I suspect the content is now sufficient on the /Temp page to warrant use in place of the copyrighted material. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartbottom (talkcontribs) 01:47, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, that was my fault. I marked the page for deletion as I thought it was a test page. My apologies.  Channel ®   00:16, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Is it acceptable for me to move the temp page to the current location w/o waiting for an administrator? The current page is clearly in violation of copyright. Smartbottom (talk) 02:44, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian Federation of Musicians[edit]

If you are a member of SSO you probably know this, that during rehersals no spectators are allowed. I could not, however, find an online citation for this, and have made my edit based on conversations with one violinist from SSO. I cannot provide his/her name for fear of reprisals. Please expand this subject, rather then removing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tigerjojo98 (talkcontribs) 21:05, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
