Sales Literature[edit]

This page is not NPOV. The use of the word "robust" in association with scalix is laughable. I have used scalix daily for the past six years, and it's been a horrible, soul-mangling experience. Florian does not allow users to see or contribute to the code base, the off-shore support staff are completely unfamiliar with the product they are "supporting", and there hasn't been a bug fix or release for years now. Scalix proprietary or open source?[edit]

is Scalix still considered proprietary?

It appears that only a stripped-down version of Scalix is open source. If you want the fully functional version you have to buy it. Art Cancro 20:27, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ajax-based?[edit]

I know what Ajax is, but what exactly is ajax-based? Isn't it really based in xhtml/html?

Company vs. Product[edit]

So is this article about the product Scalix or about the company Scalix? The infobox on the page is a Template:Infobox Software type. If their is consensus about that the company is the focus, I'll change the infobox to the Template:Infobox Company and move discussion of the product down to a section (i.e. their "flagship product") Cander0000 21:50, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scalix Community vs Enterprise[edit]

This article currently seems to talk about the community version which is under the Scalix Public License, while the Enterprise version has it's own license, yet there is no mention of this. --Hm2k (talk) 11:04, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The product described on the Wikipedia page is not actually Scalix - the Community Edition does not have all the stated features, and the Enterprise Edition is not open source (Florian does not allow even paying customers access to sources). The imaginary product described on this page, however, is what most customers think/thought they are/were getting. The screenshot is from SWA, Enterprise Edition.
