Balaclava Company[edit]

"Balaclava Company" of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders continued as an independent unit from 20 January 1971 until the regiment was restored to full battalion size on 17 January 1972. Is this a 'past unit'? Shipsview (talk) 14:45, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Highland Band[edit]

The article indicates that two former divisional bands, the Highland Band and the Lowland Band now form the the regimental Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. However, the MOD site appears to indicate that the Highland Band is still in existence[1]. Some clarification of the situation would be welcome Shipsview (talk) 09:08, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
