Check Middle East names[edit]

Several of the names in the Middle East section look like gibberish spelt to look like Welsh. Definitely not Gaelic anyway- no W or Y in that language. Walshie79 (talk) 20:01, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Moved to Scottish Gaelic exonyms?[edit]

Or at least remove the non-exonym names for places outside of Scotland. Starbeam2 (talk) 16:03, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

City[edit]

This page has evidently been drawn up by, I am guessing, an American. The vast majority of places here labelled 'city' are, at best, what we might call towns or villages, although that might be giving Achanalt ideas above its station,

This is lamentable. A monument to ignorance and absurdity.

I intend to replace every occurrence of 'city' with 'settlement'. Geopersona (talk) 15:31, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Massive expansion[edit]

I have decided to find every page with an exonym in the title on the Scottish Gaelic Wikipedia and add it to this list. I would suggest to seperate this article into Scots Gaelic exonyms and Scots Gaelic endonyms (or at least keep the endonyms here and move the exonyms to Scots Gaelic exonyms). Again, just a reminder, the list of exonyms will be huge. Thanks. MinecraftGod123 (talk) 03:52, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
