The Scraw explaination has a right to exist because it has been undervalued by Thatchers and Builders who would extort money out of listed buildings and heritage. The Scraw is a lost fire barrier which has a Biography and a life of its own. It explains the defencive reaction to the Celtic tactic of firing red hot clay sling shot pellets againt thatched building in defensive enclousures. Being liste in Wikipedia would enlighten the ignorant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shee52 (talkcontribs)

That all may well be true, but the article makes no mention of any of that. The article reads only as a dictionary definition. In order to be encyclopedic, the article would need to provide background of the use of this term, and the use of this mechanism as a fire barrier in construction. No such information is provided, nor can any be found with which to expand the article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:35, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
