Paschal Candle[edit]

In this photo it appears that the Paschal Candle has been attached to the sedia gestatoria. Does anyone have any information about this? MishaPan 19:12, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where are you seeing this? I've looked closely (admittedly it's not a great photo) and can't see anything like it anywhere. Safebreaker (talk) 18:57, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Literal translation of "sedia gestatoria"[edit]

For the sake of completeness, it would be nice to include the literal translation of these two words, which seems to be "chair for carrying". Unfortunately, I don't see a good spot to put it. Suggestions? --CliffC (talk) 20:46, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Was to is[edit]

A textual correction. While they are no longer used, they still exist. They weren't physically scrapped or anything. They still exist and can be seen on display. Some of them are now used as stationary thrones. We should say 'were' only if they no longer exist physically and have been permanently abolished, not where they still exist but aren't used. 213.233.148.30 (talk) 23:44, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
