Sunglasses at Night

I agree with this not being anywhere near punk, but can we include something about how this song borrowed a lot, and i mean A LOT, from Corey Hart's Sunglasses At Night? I mean this song is practically copyright infringement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.141.93.135 (talk) 22:00, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, it is very similar.--Banime (talk) 22:48, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Best Friends?

I noticed this song says 'My Best Friend Leslie said...'. Is this talking about Leslie 'Jake' Ryan from the Hannah Montana television series? If so, should it be mentioned as trivia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.80.29.60 (talk) 17:43, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I looked it up and, for the record, it would seem this refers to Lesley Patterson. Patterson was, at one time, Cyrus' best-friend.

WikiProject

I am proposing a WikiProject for all matter relating to Miley Cyrus. There are many articles for topics of her music and acting career so having an organized system with proper editors and collaborators would be great. Ogg sample

If anyone could upload an ogg sample for the "Composition" section that would be great. Please do it if you can. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:11, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned references in See You Again

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of See You Again's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

See You Again (Miley Cyrus song)See You Again – Per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, as this song has more long-term significance over the lesser-known Carrie Underwood song, at least in the last few years. Also per WP:TWODABS, since the current "See You Again" disambiguation page has only two entries and can the Miley Cyrus song can include a hatnote referring readers to Carrie's track. This was a single from Meet Miley Cyrus first...

Start All Over is not her debut single, this is. It was released from Meet Miley Cyrus first, then re-released as an international single on Breakout with a remix. Is this so hard to understand? This needs to be changed back with its original cover and album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.243.147.70 (talk) 06:07, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

& if anyone could change the picture back to the Meet Miley Cyrus version's single cover, that would be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaronboy123 (talkcontribs) 06:19, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Can you provide a reliable source for any of this information? — Status (talk · contribs) 17:00, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Numerous sources confirm that See You Again was released as a single in 2007, making it her solo debut. The song was also released for radio airplay in 2007, and was promoted through various televised live performances, where it was referred to as her debut single. - Sethjohnson95
Again, where is the citations for that information? — Status (talk · contribs) 06:53, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
As I stated before, it received a physical 'See You Again: The Remixes' CD release in early 2008 and released for radio play in late 2007, and was also performed through a variety of television performances.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imTxFayTxPM Here's Miley singing See You Again during a radio interview in early 2008, proving she was visiting radio stations to promote it as a single. It was also available for request on radio stations at this time.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaronboy123 (talkcontribs) 04:30, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

This should NOT be listed as a single from Breakout

I have to agree with the poster above, this should NOT be listed as a single from Breakout but as the lead single from Cyrus's debut album Meet Miley Cyrus and her overall debut single as a solo artist. If I remember correctly the Remix wasn't even released as a single in the US in the first place but just in Uk and some other European countries where the ORIGINAL version released from Meet Miley Cyrus underperformed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FOTW-MC (talkcontribs) 01:30, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

New Zealand sales

The New Zealand sales in the Sales and Certification chart is listed as 0. This cannot be correct. Based on the certification, does anybody know what the sales should instead be listed as? This needs to be fixed.
