This is moronic. The text was copied from an existing post i.e. Sierra Leone Selection Trust

What's more part of the text actually comes from the LSE library site:

not from the source that sphilbrick claims.

Libanius, please don't refer to the actions of other editors as "moronic", that's very unlikely to be helpful. You are right that some content had been copied from here (or some similar page) into Sierra Leone Selection Trust; that has now been removed. I don't know whether the AIM25 page (which is dated 2001) made use of the LSE library listing or vice versa, but it just doesn't matter to us – what matters is that we can't copy from either of them, because they do not release their content under a licence that would allow us to do so. Because this company was once a significant presence in the mining industry, I've removed the speedy tag and listed the page at copyright problems instead. If you want to work on a rewrite, please follow the link that appears when you click the third "show" below the big question mark to do so, and leave a note here once you've done so. Authorisation for usage[edit]

I have now received an email (see below) from the library at the LSE (holder of the "offending" Selection Trust corporate archives) permitting usage of the text from their webpage description of the company. What now? How do I get the "offending text" reinstated?

Libanius, you should refer them to this page, which details the various ways in which such releases can be made. However, since it would be a waste of everybody's time to get them to release it and then not use it, I suggest that you first seek consensus here for inclusion of the content in our article. Why exactly would we want to do that rather than writing encyclopaedic content ourselves in the normal way? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 15:10, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why am I still waiting on this? I went to the effort of getting the release from one of the most important academic libraries in London. They went to the trouble of replying and still I am fighting a rearguard reaction ... please approve my original text and I shall continue working on it and adding sources.
