I have a suggestion that we merge this page with 'Ontology based data integration'. hk777

Response: I would vote for keeping them separate---ontology mapping (and the associated problems of alignment and linking) are often done completely separately from data integration, and are fields of study of their own. Kevin.cohen 20:52, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is wrong according to the OWL specs: OWL for example has “sameIndividualAs” or “same-ClassAs” It should be: OWL has "SameIndividual" (owl:sameAs in RDF syntax) or EquivalentClasses (owl:equivalentClass in RDF syntax). Papercutexit (talk) 15:57, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. --Stfg (talk) 14:54, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OWL, for example has “sameIndividualAs” or “same-ClassAs”.

Needs to be:

OWL, for example has “owl:equivalentClass”, “owl:equivalentProperty” and “owl:sameAs”.

Because "sameIndividualAs" and "same-ClassAs" are not correct syntax in OWL language. Boanuge (talk) 01:44, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
