* Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.)
* Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing.
* Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports)
* Sport industry (currently a sub-stub)
Photo : for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested images of sports and games and sub-categories.

- Translate the page of sport in each country from corresponding article in other language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia which was marked in red.

Company teams are semi-pro?[edit]

According to the article, "A semipro player/team could also be one that represents a place of employment that only the employees are allowed to play on. In this case, it is considered semipro because their employer pays them, but for their regular job, not for playing on the company's team." This seems dubious. At least in the United States, it is quite common for company sports teams, particularly in sports like softball or bowling, to compete against each other recreationally. Does this make every person on one of these teams a semi-professional athlete? Seems dubious to me. Am I just interpreting this line wrong or something? Might need clarification if so. Part time sport?[edit]

Why not call the article Part time sports? It is a rhetorical question. There is a reason why there is concept of semi-professional sport rather than part time sport. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 19:48, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
