Mistake[edit]

--193.179.186.99 (talk) 16:28, 4 December 2008 (UTC) In the 1st paragraph, there's written that in SIMS secondary electrons are being produced and sorted by mass and energy. I suspect that this is a nonsense, and that "secondary ions" should replace the "secondary electrons".[reply]

Conflict[edit]

88.79.112.202 (talk) 12:42, 28 August 2008 (UTC) This article seems to suffer from some conflict of interest. It is written in a way like: "passenger air planes are made by Boing". There is a direct link to the commercial web site of one of the manufacturers of this class of instruments. I added sections and removed the table. Please see WP:EMBED for guidelines on embedded lists. If you want to add the information, you should do it as prose.
