Removal of documented info on gender controversy

Apologies, accidentally hit save before I finished my edit summary on that revert: what I meant to explain was that policies on weasel words and editorializing don't apply when they are direct quotations from reliable sources--those policies are meant to address WP editors' phrasing, not what reliable sources or the subjects themselves said. This is well-documented material--in fact there are many more reliable sources out there that could additionally be cited--and WP:NPOV requires us to give an accurate reflection of that reliable source coverage.
