I don't think the name Sha'ar HaAmakim existed until 1935, which is when it was officially founded. Kh. el Harithiya might have been only a ruin in 1922/31 or maybe was not considered a separate village. Zerotalk 00:04, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree about the name Sha'ar HaAmakim (not officially existing before 1935) ..but the Sursuck list states that 60 families were living there in 1925, and Avneri´s statement (that they "struggled" to get rid of the tenant farmers) indicate that it was inhabited. 1922 data should be on pp 33 or 34 or 35 ...I wonder if it could be "Neu Harduf", on p. 33? It had a mixed population of Muslims, Jews, and Christians. A Harduf exists, but was just started in 1982. And "Neu Harduf" had disappeared in the 1931 census...but other names exists in the 1931 census, which does not exist today.
