Things I'm thinking of adding[edit]

History: I want to find a book with the history of Jackson County. I'll develop a short history of Shady Cove. If nothing else, there should be some information about the bridge. Geography: I want to include some facts about the topography, biology, and water. Recreation: Obviously, the Rogue runs through the city, and the Forest Service runs a campground just north of the city and the state runs a boat launch just south of the bridge. The city runs a library and has other services, too. There needs to be some mention of the summer tourism industry, but I have no idea where I would find sources for that. Services: There is a police force, a fire department (with financial support from the state and forest service), a library, and various other municipal services. There is a privately-held airfield. Oregon 62 runs through town and is the main artery from the South to Crater Lake National Park.

I want to go around town and take a picture or two to add to the article. Any help appreciated! I'll be back to update as I do my work. Rvanarsdale (talk) 18:42, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
