Has she had a boob job?[edit]

Looking at her in American Pie, I think she has. Could anybody confirm? Saccerzd 01:15, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is she a bond girl?[edit]

Shannon's Birth Year[edit]

When was she born? There seems to be some fuzziness on this. ttogreh 29 Jul 2005

imdb says 1973. Some people claim that imdb is incorrect regarding a lot of information, but I've found them to be the most accurate, as it is not uncommon for celebrities to lie about their age. user:Fallout_boy
Update: Shannon was indeed born in 1973. She graduated from high school in 1991.user:Fallout_boy
And her Texas birth record says 7 Sep 1973. Questors 23:25, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Her wanton craving for anal sex may also have played a role" how can anyone possibly know this, i think it should be deleted or someone should say were this rumour is from - Zapacna 01:56, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Let the user settings determine the image size[edit]

I suggest image width not be specified. Each user controls (through "my preferences") how big the thumbnail image should be. Any particular size may be to big, or to small for some people (who have varying displays). --Rob 12:15, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Last Name[edit]

If you watch the credits for Jack Frost (1996)...it actually lists her name as Shannon Elizabeth Fabal, not Fadal. I know a lot of websites use Fadal, including IMDB, but I'm pretty sure it is Fabal.

Texas birth index sez "Fadal" Mad Jack 06:25, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Syria?[edit]

Since Elizabeth was born in Texas and only one parent is of "Syrian descent", how is she applicable to WikiProject Syria? Olessi 05:16, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The banner was added because the article was in a subcategory of Category:Syria. It's probably better to remove the banner, as she doesn't belong in the scope of the project. - Anas talk? 22:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone verify her true ethnic background? It indicates her father is of Syrian descent & then for the rest of the entire entry references her Lebanese heritage. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.89.101.111 (talk) 19:04, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Acting as teenager?

can somebody say something because she acts as a teenager in american pie and 13 ghosts

SYKO

It is common for twentysomethings to play teenagers in films, so it is not really a relevant point. Qzm (talk) 19:36, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"no nudity clause"[edit]

somebody said she had this after 1999? does anybody know of a source for it? thanks Mathmo Talk 06:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shannon Elizabeth's father Lebanese origins[edit]

What has come out of Shannon Elizabeth herself in interviews which is also supported by the primary evidence (official documents from the National Archive) establishes that her father was of Lebanese origins only not "Syrian" or "Syrian-Lebanese" as some unreliable sources such as Arabamerica.com and other "reliable" (some quite old and outdated) secondary sources are saying.

In the LebaneseExaminer.com source already cited in the article https://lebaneseexaminer.com/2018/07/25/actress-shannon-elizabeth-im-proud-lebanese-side-life/, Shannon Elizabeth says and I quote “I would love to go to Beirut because that’s where our ancestors are from,” she added. “I’m waiting for the right opportunity, but it is very high on my list to get out there very soon.” She is not saying "part of her ancestors are from Beirut" or "her paternal grandfather or paternal grandmother ancestors are from Beirut".

In her interview in the Bonus Features of the movie Thirteen Ghosts Collectors Edition (Min 9:57 "Haunted In Canada – An Interview With Actress Shannon Elizabeth") https://insidepulse.com/2020/07/27/blu-ray-review-thir13en-ghosts-collectors-edition/, Shannon Elizabeth states and I quote “My biggest memory of the film and working on it and creating these characters was working really closely with Tony Shalhoub,” Elizabeth said on the Blu-ray. “He’s Lebanese, I’m Lebanese. He was truly like a dad to me.” as can be read on some of the transcript here https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/marvelous-mrs-maisel-star-tony-shalhoub-helped-his-costar-rewrite-this-movie.html/ She is not saying "im part or half Lebanese", she is saying im Lebanese

In the World Team Poker event article also cited as a source http://www.onlinepoker.net/poker-news/poker-tournaments-news/glamorous-pro-shannon-elizabeth-join-world-team-pokers-team-lebanon/5455 it states "because of her father’s Lebanese origins she is eligible to partake in the event as part of Team Lebanon and so will be taking her place with fellow team members at the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas on 19th May" The article does not say "her father's partial or half Lebanese origins".

If we look at the primary sources they corroborate what Shannon Elizabeth as said herself about her father's Lebanese (not Syrian nor Syrian-Lebanese) origins.

Shannon Elizabeth's grandfather Toufic William Fadal was born in 1914 in Texas to William Fadal and Anne Fadal https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MHB7-CTB

William Joseph Fadal (1878-1924) was born in Mount Lebanon as can be seen in his naturalization act in Texas https://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?dbid=2509&h=368672&indiv=try&o_vc=Record:OtherRecord&rhSource=60901 (requires a free trial or membership to see). His parents were Joseph Fadal and Bashara Fadal https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K3CB-783

Anne Fadal (nee Awad) (1890-1974) was born in Lebanon to Anthony Awad and Nour Satel as can be seen in her death certificate https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K3XS-PT9

Grandmother Louise Saliba was born in 1916 to Albert/Abdalla Basila or Bassilla (1874-1941) and Filomena Saloum/Salome (1883-1944)

Albert and Filomena were both from Beirut as can be seen in their immigration act of 1899 here https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JXZ4-34W and https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JXZ4-344. The act says they were meeting Albert’s brother Elias who lived in Washington St, New York

Albert’s brother Elias is seen traveling from Beirut in 1898 to his Washington St, New York residence here https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JXH2-9ZR

What has come out of Shannon Elizabeth herself and the primary evidence settles that Shannon Elizabeth's father was of Lebanese descent not Syrian or Syrian-Lebanese like some sources in the internet claim.

Beirut and all Lebanon was part of Ottoman Syria or Syria which was a division of the Ottoman Empire. This however does not make the person Syrian but Lebanese since Beirut/Lebanon is not in present day Syria today.Chris O' Hare (talk) 17:23, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
