is that a shark or an HR 25. I.E. toerail, pulpit?

Definitely not a shark! the stays are not close enough to toe rail.

Oh, it's a Shark alright, and a mighty pretty one too. The Toerail and Pulpit certainly tend to make it look a little 'Husky', but that's fine. I used to own a Shark - it was well built by C&C Yachts, having a four digit sail number. I often wish I had never sold it. It was for sure, the best little sailboat ever. Easy to sail, low maintenance, ability to perform all work myself and low marina costs due to size. My wife and I have spent many happy days cruising the BC coast in that fine little boat. An added bonus was seeing the look of surprise on the faces of skippers of bigger boats as we sometimes broadreached past them in a fresh breeze on the leeward side at around 8 - 10 knots. How sweet it was! The Shark has indeed become - "a legend in its own time" Looking at the photo of "Isola", I could very easily be convinced to buy another Shark. Having now reached an advanced age, I kind of like the idea of Pulpits and Lifelines on this boat. So the question is: Can anyone tell me if this vessel is still in production in Canada and if so, who should one contact and where? I've reviewed the Shark Association website but cannot find any information pertaining to a current builder. --Trebor Rolyat 01:26, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
