Untitled[edit]

I've done a rewrite of this article, mostly wording changes and expansion, but I did correct one inaccuracy. Kiscaden did not lose the primary election before she changed parties. The Minnesota Republican party did endorse a much more conservative challenger (she has always been a moderate) but she beat him in the primary. The loss of Republican support prompted her to eventually leave the party she had always belonged to. Currently, she doesn't mention party affiliation and it is an open question as to how she will file for re-election. Incidentally, she is my state senator, though I don't know her personally. "Minor" party[edit]

In Minnesota, the Independence Party is considered a major party for statewide politics. Iceberg3k 00:07, 10 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
